Thank You for Making Disco Dash Unforgettable!

What an incredible night! Thank you for making the inaugural Disco Dash a huge success.

It was an amazing celebration of our community. Together, we kicked off the opening of the full boardwalk path and made a real impact through our charity efforts – raising over $2,000 for KidSport New West. Your energy and enthusiasm brought the vibe to life, and we couldn’t have done it without you.

Mark your calendars:
Registration for next year opens mid-December. Let’s make the next Disco Dash even bigger and brighter!

A Night to Glow

Join us for a glow-filled 5K night run along the scenic New Westminster Quay! Starting and finishing at Pier Park, this out-and-back route hugs the Fraser River, with stunning city lights and a festive atmosphere to celebrate at the finish.

The out-and-back route takes you along the waterfront boardwalk to the Quay’s turnaround point. The path is mostly flat with gentle curves, making it perfect for runners of all abilities.

Bring your brightest, wackiest costume, glow sticks, LED gear, or reflective attire to enhance the night-time atmosphere.

Conveniently scheduled the day after Halloween, so you can dress up and enjoy all your leftover candy!

  • Professionally timed, measured 5K course
  • One beer included with race bib

Course

Flat, fast and great vibes! The 2026 edition features a brand-new start/finish location and slightly updated course! Under the glow of sunset.

The new course will follow start & finish at the brand new Park C next to the residential towers in Westminster Pier Park. The course is slightly updated to feature an out and back at the beginning and only one detour into the residential path.

NEW FOR 2026! Kids Race

For 2026 we are introducing a kids race to bring the opportunity for all ages to participate. The Kids Race is FREE to participate! We welcome all kids to participate at our event; however, the age limit for the kids race is 11 years old. It’s not timed, is non-competitive and purely for the fun of all involved. The Kids race will run the out and back to the end of the pier and start shortly before the 5km race starts at 4:30pm.
